excuse me for treating this “neverwinter nights” thing like i matter.

It was painful. it was working one minute and the next it was not. it was indeed naive of me to think that beamdog would let their ip be cannabalized by one with a one up, hell of a gimmick. To be honest with you, I very much like the aesthetic of the beamdog neverwinter nights character but they got their pittance anyway without having to reverse the game. the thing that had me lusting after a FUBAR congruence was the scripting. multiple characters have different fighting styles that can be toggled on the fly, like the rogue for instance. I’ve been playing computer roleplay for long enough for my common sense to tell me that they must be a nightmare to program. For the moment, my solution for amicable solution is to play my GOG version of the texture pack which keeps to the original aesthetic of the game and is, at the moment, also compatible with FUBAR… it’s a wonderful hat trick. someone that beamdock actually listened to could probably convince them to remake the entire ip from the ground up with a 60 dollar price tag fact being that everything is all filed up nice but don’t hold your breath. like i said i’m not explaining things because i am far from a programmer but if you are willing to buy the game two or three times, you eventually prevail.
