That is precisely what he did to his adoring fans when the original ps3 released with a jaw dropping price tag of 600$ American. its been about two years since the launch of the playstation 5, and the whole big box store “get to da choppa!!!” cellphone shoot outs that they instigated while roughly one million americans lost their lives to corona virus have evidently been expeditiously forgotten… so you’re feeling privileged because you own a next generation system… well sony intends to critically end your dopamine rush with a hardware update, really two, in fact. there’s the playstation 5 slim, which from all impressions of the device just seems to be a leaner version of the current ps5 with the same functionality for those who just must have the newest greatest. here’s the problem with that though, on the inside it seems to be the same device. here’s where sony aims to grab you by your ankles and shake the change out of your pockets… you all wanted it for some reason but like two, three years in here it is… the playstation 5 pro is a reality. with real added amenities beyond a more svelte form factor. actually it looks to be a chonky boy packin’ all that hardware. so i cut and pasted an objective comparison to inform your decision about spending 700$ american (you heard me right.) 700$ american on this thing… even though the big box stores vary. even in this economy, some brat is gonna nag santa ’til he caves and leaves this thing under his christmas tree… the red velvet cake is probably what’s going to seal the deal. so i just put this list up so you can view sony’s argument, side by side with it’s current console and the hardware reboot of it as to why you should spend an extra two hundred dollars on this newer, supposedly more powerful variant. don’t say i never did anything for you.
