now hear me out here… again probably a query with a short, subjective answer for you to ponder over. however, are you drinking diablo’s admittedly tasty kool aid provided you start from the beginning and then absorb yourself into the violent for real endgame “vessels of hatred” dlc that released this month for it for what I know is free, same steam rules apply so if you weren’t up on this like a year ago you’re probably going to have to come out of pocket for it. I wouldn’t worry too hard, it’s not exorbitantly priced and I imagine that when you get highest enough level to play it, the baddies are going have their switches set to murder so if you have it play it, it happens to the best of us with steam’s absolutely nuts game roster… play it, and play it now.
now here comes the part where you get to help someone that is actually providing you value for the money that you pay for the media that they offer instead of the self deprecation that the majority of them rely on for the building and maintaining of their brand on everybody’s favorite cell phone show tik tok… especially when what they call “content” involves having meme contest like eating raw ghost peppers, or bragging about how they got a fendi purse for five dollars at the goodwill. don’t get me wrong, if this is your thing some of the time they do hit that bull’s eye and eliminate your boredom… but I’m just saying for this to be the era of the cell phone… i mean, before the apple store went defunct i was a game app junkie, you hear me.
Yet, with these guys scrolling through their phones and laughing like there is something there of substance, i don’t get it. again, however, if you were waiting for it, path of exile 2 is in early release and the developer says the production will be done in six months… it costs 29.99 now if you remember that addictive game play and want more of it. like, for example… i’ve been jonesing harder on path of exile 2 way more than diablo 4 for some reason. personally i think that at this point of the production, the armor, weapons, whatever may have you are way less focused on monetization and more interested in entertaining the player. for example… it’s only been a couple of days and for the simplistic mechanics i’ve been using the ranger in path of exile 2, and the coolest thing is that when you have that bow trained on that target… she walks backwards while being able to flip while still looking beautiful on the digital theater, and her rogue-like powers begin with elemental arrowheads. I’ve spent 500 hours playing the first version of this game and, trust me, to the detriment of the game mechanics… the monetization model will most definitely change, it’s six months out and they are already exploiting loyal, paying fans through twitch. personally, the default armor and weapons are such that I’d gladly hand in another 30 dollars to keep from getting gouged. but as that first iteration goes, you would probably be surprised at how few people used to play the first path of exile, but After that six month development period, like it’s older sibling it will be free to play with very discreet micro transactions, hopefully not bland combat gear for the frugal of us and for what I can ascertain no “pay to win” mechanics, and I find that to be the coolest thing. from the sounds my case fan makes when I’m playing it, like a gtx 3050 or the like will probably do the trick. well, that’s the war report on my favorite two games, diablo is a little more expensive but also includes a little extra value with the seasonal modes and the recent expansion pack as well as the option to play the original campaign if you neglected to like i did so all and all especially if you get it for 40 dollars like I did, it’s a pretty robust package for the price. a little joy for you from little p. enjoy your holiday!!!
