You got a little early thanksgiving gift from crowbar collective, two years late for me, i do believe the majority of us were busy trying to track down vaccines. first of all black mesa, as known to us boomers, has not only had a little fan service to the sequel with the touch up of the original game and its two sequels… but the original half life, otherwise known as black mesa on steam, is a complete game in the improved source engine along with blue shift, and is known as black mesa definitive edition. if you’ve smoked your brain away as to what this game was when it came out remember stealing a game that was just like half life… they both start with you riding on a train. you gotta think mr. newell is straight up vicious when it comes to people stealing his stuff because in the stolen napster version of that game, you ride the train in anticipation, thinking you are going to have an incredible gaming experience and when the doors open, you can’t leave the train. i kid you not. so you don’t have an excuse… the boys are all here and slightly improved for the trouble. the intellectual properties that pretty much kick started that man’s career. as i say on occasion, enjoy.
