got out my trusty Logitech f310 of course and if you catch the half off sale on ninja gaiden pc re release which would make it 23 bucks (until August 2nd, usually 9am pacific,) it works plug and play with that too. it handles pretty much everything you throw at it and most of the acclaim probably goes to steam. did i mention its an ergonomic twenty dollar p.c. controller that cost twenty bucks?.. its more often than not compatible and fully functional. as for the micro transaction laden, cell phone games on steroids i doubt i have to tell you who was going to be the first to throw their hat into the ring if you have been in the game, playing graphically stunning video games on your cell phone for years… gameloft, proprietors of licensed, unlicensed and just straight up decent cell phone clones for a decent number of cell phones as well as years. you can’t imagine how hard my bottom jaw dropped when i saw asphalt legends, at a relatively cell phone hefty 9GB on my basic xbox game pass app. i’m assuming that they are looking at what path of exile and etcetera are doing with their various offerings and see an opportunity. i don’t think it’s crossplay but i’m not into it all that deep. surprised at how incredibly smooth the title runs? what part of ported “cell phone game,” missed your attention. i don’t know how this works, because i just have the free xbox app, but they need to do more of it. not flood the market to its deficit, but trickle down gamenomics is a good look for us peasants. i would even be down for a deluxe package on this one. path of exile is also free and worth your time, but the microtransactions are a bit spendy and the flawed optimization has a chance at damaging your p.c. if you don’t let the developer’s rules be the developer’s rules. most likely your not into that dungeons and dragons stuff, but its more like a diablo where everybody wants to be a god instead of a devil.
anyway peace,
the ummi
