Yes i’m talking about the razer edge kishi v.2 all of a sudden in stock at the razer refurbished device store that razer has evidently figured out has an audience with people who like niche devices and are seasoned chinese “thief box” users. so that’s the caveat. i could only sideload it to internal memory, the tutorials are few and far between, and that’s probably why people return the things and do the most absolutely irresponsible thing you could do and get the cell version. just so you know, i used the easiest way of side loading this thing and that is to unlock “developer’s mode” and use a micro sd card which it will most likely only allow you to use in portable mode. the device has 128 gb’s of internal memory and since it’s qualified as a handheld and not a handheld p.c., that should be plenty, even with ps2 and a little gamecube at multiple res. you know the drill, write the files onto the portable external card and transfer them onto your internal memory with your favorite front end. that’s how i did it, it not worth my time to swat that hornet’s nest, just know that it can be done, and fairly easily. i use daijisho, just because it’s simple, lightweight and properly configured, it just works. it’s arguably a little better with the new, still purchasable renewed at amazon razer kishi ultra because paired they make a beautiful, quirky emulation device and both cellular spines can be used as modular spines for a host of phones but one caveat, compatibility is not guaranteed. 21:9 AA legally purchased cell phone games and a good amount of late emulation look incredible filling out that beautiful 2400 x 1080, 140hz tablet screen. those are the links you need. this article was bloated with me gushing about this thing like a pre teen over her favorite boy band so I’m trying to fix it and treat this like i’m a middle aged aspiring intern. the truth is that i’m an amazon associate for the moment but that doesn’t affect my opinions or any of the information that i communicate to you but, seriously people… all you have to do is put the thing in developer mode and transfer the game files from the external micro sd card to the internal memory. overstand… this was supposed to be a game streaming device so it also does pretty much everything that the G cloud does but evil and dark and in 21:9 for half it’s price like razer does everything else. the sd retro sideloading (snapdragon triple eights sideloading so take your steam deck and stuff it up your fanboy bottom,) functionality as a jerk wild card for 199$ right now, again half the price and with a little less gaming functionality than the bottom tier steam deck, but with no games however, but i just bought bright memory infinite for five bucks and i ain’t mad. it’s a ip by a chinese developer based on the unreal 4, you know, the type of stuff that will keep us playing when we’re supposed to be trying to stifle the end of the world. anyway the kishi tablet’s screen is capable of 144hz and when you are scrolling through the hundreds of stolen, i mean downloaded games in your library it’s doctor mesmer playing that piano straight up. i didn’t believe it until i saw it with my own eyes… read the specs i’ve posted above. razer has evidently realized they have a semi valuable property on their hands and the refurbished razer edge wifi v.2, repeating myself can be found in their refurbished store here when it wasn’t before. now all you have to do to get that micro sd door off and the way you do that is to push a thin paper clip straight into that tiny hole on it and it’ll pop right out. please, for the love of god don’t pry it… as for putting the console into developer’s mode and the correct mode that the device has to be in to sideload games it’s not too complicated. however, the process from what i’ve seen on forums for using the sd card for anything else but transferring files on the 128gb internal memory, which is plenty, internal storage… this tablet is fairly hard to brick. i do believe it’s as simple as enabling developer mode which opens up a litany of digital options which will kill your device dead. i don’t even think it’s necessary unless you want direct access to the internal memory on your handheld, so you’re on your own. now, the kishi ultra attachment is not modest, this new attachment, even refurbished as amazon still has in stock now, puts the edge in steam deck low tier competition even if you get the handheld device razer refurbished and the kishi ultra refurbished separately by amazon. but if you aren’t too choosy about android and varied competence as the stats show, the device is still under 300$ american. and as a emulation device, i’m hearing “also ran” shade about the steam deck not being the “perfect” device when it comes to emulating ps2, gamecube, and above so i’m going to mention that, refurbished on the razer store, the kishi handheld v.2 cost 199.99 plus tax with that OLED 2400 x 1080 screen and the kishi ultra is 90 dollars refurbished on amazon, or you could just buy the 3d printed case for 15, their equally good choices. if you want to tote a modest collection of your pc games with you and mess with the settings until you can get a playable 800p gaming experience the steam deck is for you. or… if you’re one of these “contractual yearly dandies,” get a kishi v.2, minus the tablet, your choice, from the razer refurbished market on their site that i linked to you above, however the red magic gaming phone has been heard in whispers lately. but if the chip can game, so can they, the temperature on the block is definitely increasing on this one. remember when you had to carry a beeper, a cell phone, and a mp3 player? i’m just saying, that’s on you and when you fear your landlord evicting you. i probably get a significant hit off that red magic link so if you see something further up the page that you like, be a gentleman about it, please.

peace,
the ummi
