i can’t drive, i’m not cute and etc. etc. but i have a teespring store as many content creators though. i could be better with my digital art (especially my vector art, which i love, especially the way they do it, considering its a free site.) i haven’t had a sale yet but a small sample of people do read my prose website as well. when i’m not playing the role of affiliate marketer for handheld consoles… which despite their ability to side load literally entire libraries of retro games if you know where to look… when it comes to my psp and vita, i still prefer and can only afford, original hardware, plus… the experience with any chinese handheld under 200$ AMERICAN CURRENCY… FACTS… THE EXPERIENCE with that “golden apple” god of war chains of olympus is not optimal. ps2 and gamecube for the most part? fuhgeddaboudit! just so you know, there is no shortage of umd media on ebay for under 20$ american a disc so you will have plenty to occupy yourself with when you decide to play your 20 year old device which also can be purchased for anywhere from 140$ to 180$ american. caveat emptor of course. there has been talk of aging battery issues and these devices, again are over 15 years old. if you would like a vita as well, know that it suffers from half-hearted, negligent media support from sony AND DEPENDING ON who you deal with when you procure your vita and what you demand as far as condition is concerned… even though in many cases on ebay the product advert images aren’t really representative of what reaches your doorstep… but if it’s whAT THEY SAY IT IS IN TRUTH… THEY CAN COST IN EXCESS OF 200$ aMERICAN… THEY’VE MADE IT EASIER THAN EVER TO HACK IT, BUT IF YOU DO SIR YOU ARE THE MOST FOOLISH OF FOOLS, THESE DEVICES ARE MASTER CLASSES IN WHAT HANDHELD MEDIA CONSUMPTION SHOULD BE LIKE. ANYWAY, i got a perfectly functioning copy of God of war chains of olympus restored with a clear case which the purists will hate for approximately 20$ American. the small ebay storefront is called play then sell and they send you just the METICULOUSLY BUBBLE WRAPPED psp disc no box or manual, fully functional as i said before. they probably carefully BUFFED the media to restore lost fidelity and skips AND THEN APPENDED A CLEAR PLASTIC CONTAINER FOR THE DISC, and THEN they top it off with a few high quality stickers. MY PSP came with a little jank on the control nub which, to my delight scrubbed away with a careful but vigorous rubbing with an alcohol pad. all i need is my magicgate memory stick which i got off of ebay for 8 dollars, so i can save my games. common sense would dictate that it come along with the psp but i’m still satisfied. i’m working on some other stuff which you might recognize and the psp definitely is refurbished, but its still my favorite handheld console of all time.
p.s. before you give up on your ebay psp purchase, give it a once over with an alcohol prep pad. i mean, like mine is mint right now, mint. it seems all that ebay does is replace the screen and the battery… dodgy or not. and i will give them this, they give you a free one year functionally fit warranty so check your e-mail for it. i’m contemplating paying off my debts and getting a vita even with the lack of support sony gave it. can you tell i got mine and i don’t care anymore?
