this right here is the lazy conclusion to the lazy sunday query, and with the shooting of those unlucky three students because of the palestinian styled scarves that they were wearing, according to wikipedia known as “keffiyeh” should, in a country which evangelizing the freedom and opportunity it offers it’s inhabitants, shouldn’t be given a second thought. maybe they imagined they were trading thoughts over a leisurely walk in between coups in their native gaza… maybe the native garb was donned in the hope of conversation and a new friend.
don’t feel so bad, in the wake of vietnam, southern californians have been dealing with their own personal “dress code” divide and conquer quid pro quo which has served to make appetizing the idea of murdering young blacks for from everything from sneakers to pure petulance. there’s an interview with the late tupac shakur which explained it quite succinctly… “the same people that white people are scared of, we are scared of.” it gets no better, and that’s the depressing part about it, from the migrants being pretty much exactly where we were seventy years ago. to the country spending itself absolutely broke trying to keep its infrastructure sound and it’s citizens healthy and corona being the new viral hotness and the sneaking suspicion i have of a hush policy in my local hospital. sorry for the late entry, enjoy your sunday.
