Amazon Luxury. disposable income is a thing for somebody out there. even though they won’t even accept me as an affiliate marketer… every once and a while i check up on amazon because they still sell things that i want to buy even though i have received no limit of abuse at their vest. now this is interesting, they have decided to branch out into a pure luxury section of the site in this economy. somebody believes this is a good idea. the thing about amazon if you look hard enough is they have small to medium companies listed with real unique design acumen not faux luxury, i call it disposable fashion because of the price point and the usual lack of real quality but if your looking for something that’s good for a couple of jaunts in the city that’s your go to. the only way i can see this working is with actual luxury brands and clothing with real intrinsic value. digressing… as far as the surfans F28 is concerned, if you like to tinker and you adjust the standby setting so the battery lasts the night… notice i said standby and not power the device off, which basically means putting the track you listening to on pause and pressing the power button once. the screen should shut off and you have successfully put your device to sleep manually. if you tinker hard enough it also has an automatic power saver mode. if the device doesn’t immediately wake up when you press it once in the morning hold down the power button for like a minute and you won’t feel like you got ripped off. if that doesn’t work hold down the power and back button or, as a last resort, attach it to the c usb on your p.c. because that will surely wake up the device. the F28 is an exceptional device should you take the time to learn it’s idiosyncrasies, but it is quirky as hell, last thing you want to do is be stuck with a digital player that you can’t power on that has a charge. surfans is just staying tucked away in their pocket because they don’t want to get stomped like an errant roach. when you put it to sleep, provided the standby is set to somewhere in the single digits you pause the song and press the button once, briefly and put the device to sleep, the screen will cut off if you’ve done it right. now the rub is, most of the target audience of this device are used to easy-to-use devices like cell phones so the recidivism is insane for them to be coddling us like this. thanks for nothing… but i assure you, if you learn to use the thing, it’s incredible, if you want something a step down and way easier to use, check out the F20. i imagine the minimum monetary difference in price is because they want to keep those two synchronized mini dacs to themselves. the F20 works like every cheap drag and drop digital audio player you’ve ever owned in your life and supports the creation of organized folders and embedded album art regardless of how ridiculous that concept is compared to the F28 doing the same thing. if you need coaching beyond that i buy most of my music so i really don’t fuck with y’all. it has that awesome retro style spin select wheel but it’s tiny and tactile. however, again… provided you adjusted the standby on the F28, preferably to something like 5 minutes, pause the device, press the power button lightly, and the screen will turn off and hopefully, with another light press, the device will wake up in the morning, if not you might need to hold down the button for a minute or so, that’s all they need to fix to doom their little venue. can i be an influencer now? no offense. same thing anbernic does. if you deal with chinese digital theft devices your aware of this. it also works fine with legal music and plays a litany of file formats including lossless ones such as apple digital master .m4a and .FLAC. lastly, after a haitus as far as i’m concerned because i got that wi-fi razer edge into developer mode… wink, wink. i mean, you can steal everything from nes to a decent amount of PS2 with that thing if you know what you’re doing, excluding highly obtuse chipsets like the gamecube… and you know how us idiots love our serpentine trinities. so anyway, now anbernic is once again striving for relevance even though they need to back off on that rg cube price point first. however, instead of getting robbed on ebay, check these out. i just got sick of stealing defunct video games but these look cool. the mold is completely stolen but in asian business that’s okay. no word on the console generational range yet and they are straight up calling this thing a damned vita. the razer edge has a Snapdragon G3X Gen 1 processor and amazon still sells it used for all you android fans for 200$. in all transparency, the low tier steam deck cost 400$ and plays most of the PS2 library full speed compared to the edge’s decent amount of the PS2 library full speed for 200$ wi-fi off amazon and these steam weeaboos are creaming themselves in consecutive youtube video after youtube video plus its fairly hard to brick unless you are a serious moron and that’s coming from a dummy. anbernic has a curiosity here confirmed though… don’t ask.
