leaving that “tech” stuff alone, my favorite keyboard that i had lost touch with, the Q10, now the V10, with a comfortable Amazon price point fact being that it’s the closest thing you can get to a bespoke schenzhen board for under 200$.

there’s a youtuber who sells “thock” merch and another who invented the tape mod and this entire community who touch types who swears by modifications such as lubricating the shafts of the keys, and favorite different types of keycaps and keyswitches and different effects to make your typing experience a pleasure next to the ectasy of the god’s themselves. if you don’t see paying 300$ for this feeling… which most of us don’t, i have a sobb story about one of my favorite companies when it comes to mechanical keyboards and momentum. the name of the company is keychron and the keyboard is the alice Q10. for the price, because i really only like to deal in legal theft of intrinsic value. the design was conceptualized by a member of the keyboarding community and i had put it away and basically forgot about it. tape mod, foam mod, double shot oem keys, red switches, frame made out of one solid milled block of aluminum… straight overkill. these dudes make some cool stuff i’m looking and seeing like literally 100 keyboards on their site. how that isn’t spreading resources is beyond me unless these insane times have caused the market to drop off. i just found the thing today and plan to main it so i just wanted to pay it forward if it is the same board which i very seriously doubt at that price point. anyway, don’t say i never did anything horribly disappointing for you. even though they claim to be serving this baby up with the same uber man funk on it. i can type a little bit, hate me. otherwise, don’t do it to yourself, you’re going to be left clueless as to why this dude has like 6 mechanical keyboards. get into a high school where they give you 3 hours a night of homework and then grow into an adult who writes a blog with no connections and gets the occasional discount for his work and get back to me. anyway, upon further examination of the site, you can’t get these assembled anymore… more merriment for me. gimme a minute… now i can say it. dated but never imitated the new sku.
