first of all, another qualifier. this editorial is written with no experience with the device that i’m speaking of. i do have the logitech f310 p.c. exclusive controller posted above which has developed a symbiotic relationship with the steam deck where the F310 is compatible with pretty much every p.c. game in the steam store. logitech makes a wireless version of the controller, the F710 but i think to myself, how could there be any issues with latency with a wired controller? i’m notorious for being late to the party but check out this little guy…

now, if you’re still into p.c. gaming and love that naga snake trinity and all that comes with it they’ve made a bunch of these things. i don’t know if it is supply line issues, tariffs, or any number of things that probably combined externalities because razer has been stone faced in this game for years… but these controllers come at a considerable premium and are ubiquitously console compatible. now if like me, you’re an old boomer who has learned enough about his p.c. to appreciate that total control over your experience provided you’re money is right the day you purchase your p.c. and reduced latency is not a factor with controllers, just get the logitech f310. it plays everything on steam and a bunch of other online clients and it sells for about 25 bucks once you factor in the shipping and tax. it’s so good that me, personally for the moment being an amazon associate, can’t post a link to it… they cuff that thing. i will take the risk of posting an amazon picture and link to it’s younger wireless brother though. here you go.

so of course you wondering if latency is an issue because you love those nifty wiz bang wireless controllers with a passion, an answer for my new best friend copilot at microsoft.
Is latency an issue in wired controllers?
so, if you’ve lost your hair and libido and only play games on expensive p.c.’s… there’s you answer… razer’s power move is one of the few things that makes sense in this reality these days. read the product description, and decide whether you want to spend that extra 40 to 80 bucks when you can get a controller for 20 that is being indirectly supported by steam for the moment. so next time your at an fps tournament, and mr. dandy pulls out that wireless controller and dongle… try not to politely chuckle.
