first of all, crypto currency is illegal to tender in china yet it mines 70 percent of the world’s supply of it. keep in mind you are talking about silo style buildings stacked ceiling high with active servers, not some ungrateful idiot with a homebrew bios. i’m digging deep here with my c- economics degree and just attempting to do my best to help you understand why interest rates and the CPI are more irrelevant than ever these days. there are regular banks which you conduct your business with and, in addition to that, a network of 12 federal reserve banks in the united states whose purpose is to control the value of money and amount of money in flux in our economic system… supply and demand, through monetary (printing and distributing currency) and fiscal (controlling borrowing and lending via interest rates) policies. money has a price; the price of money is interest. if you are a savvy homeowner, you probably know this already, refinancing your home at every advantageous opportunity. here’s the thing about crypto currency and why it was created by some fiscal anarchists. from what i can understand, it’s a lottery matrix of numbers which have no value until they are valued and purchased through a complex mathematical process which will melt your graphics card and then they act as stock dividends do, and then, only then, can they be governed by the federal reserve banking system… so our economy is coughing and wheezing and nobody is the wiser to these commodities that are flying under the radar and can only be controlled by our banking system when they are purchased at a static market price, yet still influencing the dynamics that the federal reserve uses to enact policy. for some reason gen z’ers love this stuff when they should be avoiding it like the plague. not going to name names but doge coin is not a government policy it’s a crypto invented by a certain autistic savant automotive mogul. mr. trump was so enchanted that he invented his own. so if your cash flows aren’t right to begin with, and you’re trying to pay for a life with a shopping habit that isn’t a viable habit anymore, i’ve tried to explain to you why… oh, and lastly, it’s volatile as hell and skewed to benefit the knowledgeable and connected. buy an index fund or something, will ya? see, it’s still not as safe as a certificate of deposit from your bank which is less susceptible to interest rates than stocks and bonds, but money market commodities like staple, resilient, mutual hedge and index funds… are a way safer way to play that risk vs. reward game because you are dealing with the portfolios of organizations who have those connections and access to information that is bygone when you read it in the motley fool or the new york times over your morning coffee… but looking at the news and the trajectory of the dow jones, that ratio doesn’t even sound appetizing… savings accounts and starving for the win. remember, there is no such thing as insider trading, try your best to roll with the winners. now in my humble, unlettered community college opinion… with china holding and producing crypto like that. the path of least resistance would be for the u.s. to buy them out, respectfully, with dummy companies or whatever but nothing that gets us murdered… please? then after that to use the much devalued crypto to trade with second and third world countries instead of killing the value of our own personal currency because when great britain is talking “trickle down” reagonomics… there’s a problem. you can probably to a large degree set the price of this stuff when you own it, and make it illegal to deal in it like it is in china and stop them from buying our damned country from up under us. my humble, hopefully tactful… opinion, you had 48 hours for your bright minds to coalesce and if china has a problem with it, some heads need to roll on capitol hill. if you read me every now and a few, you realize the progressive nature of my personal understanding of the thoughts that i want to elaborate. acceptable standards of living have a dynamic where america and other more developed nations… if the math is right… can pull this off and despite the exploitation of the second and third world that’s been going on for years, everybody come away happy in this immense ponzi scheme we call capitalism. for example, lebanon has, pretty much no infrastructure, no business whatsoever involved in a military operation. the value of their currency is so low that they had to print a 100,000 lira note to continue to trade with neighboring nations so what do they deal in? crypto… and it’s a hell of a lot safer than playing with mother nature which you have little to no problem with. personally i’m sure that the entire world wants to keep tabs on the amount of these “monetary GFT’s” at play in their economy, china included, and would be glad to offload a good degree of it, again, with that same restriction on tendering it. i’m sure your economists are way more comfortable dealing in crypto than devaluing the currency with b.s. initiatives. what is acceptable in countries like lebanon and cuba is absolutely unacceptable here. this the the “new normal.” we can’t start a war everytime things get tight.
The truth of crypto currency.
